The North Arlington, NJ company was started by Giorgio Burgagni and Salvatore DiBlasi in 1974. The two principals are now joined on the executive level by sons Alfred Burgagni, Nicholas Burgagni, George Burgagni, and Peter DiBlasi, for a combined 150 years of construction management experience. With a staff of 20 office and field employees, plus a full complement of union craftworkers, Cobra has earned a solid reputation for on-time delivery of quality projects.
Cobra’s recent focus on public works projects has garnered the firm praise, awards, and repeat projects throughout the region. The firm is active with the New Jersey Schools Development Authority, many Boards of Education throughout the state, Kean University, Ramapo College, the Counties of Essex and Morris, as well as the State of New Jersey’s Division of Property Management and Construction. Cobra also does select private client work with emphasis on large-scale interior renovations that require specialized expertise. A typical Cobra project is between $5-$30 million dollars. The company has average annual revenues of $35 million.
